In order for Wellbeing at Garon Park to be able to offer the valuable health and wellbeing services to our community, we require a committed team of volunteers to work alongside us.
There are lots of reasons for choosing volunteering, and even more to chose to volunteer for Wellbeing at Garon Park:
Making a difference:
The main motivation for many volunteers is the desire to give something back and know that they are making a huge difference to the local community they belong to.
Meeting new people:
Volunteering is a great way to meet new people and make new friends.
Developing skills:
Volunteering is a great way to learn new skills; pass on your skills and experience to other; take part in training, enhance your experience and boost your CV. All of our roles offer different experience and training will be made available to you.
Improving your own wellbeing:
There is research to show that volunteering can have lots of positive benefits for both physical and mental well being.

There is no such thing as a ‘typical’ volunteer – we welcome people from all walks of life and whether it’s once a month, once a week or a couple of hours every day, your experience and skills are invaluable. We have a number of great volunteering opportunities available, which are listed below:
